Founder
Phu Lam Agriculture Trading and Services Co., Ltd. is built on more than 40 years of experience in agriculture and export. Our journey began in 1981 with tea production and export. During this period, we successfully built one of the most well-known tea brands in Phnom Penh, widely distributed throughout the Cambodian market. We later expanded into rice processing and distribution, operating at a capacity of nearly 300 metric tons per day. After nearly a decade, we shifted our focus to packaging and transportation services, directly supporting the agricultural and aquaculture sectors in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region. These stages enabled Phu Lam to develop comprehensive expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and international export standards. In alignment with Vietnam’s long-term national strategy for high-tech agriculture, approved in 2012, our company began a process of exploration and transformation. From that time, our founder devoted years to researching, learning, and gaining practical experience from both domestic and international agricultural models. This nearly decade-long journey of study and evaluation was driven by a clear vision: to identify a crop with strong potential for sustainability, scalability, and global competitiveness through the application of modern agricultural technology. In 2021, Phu Lam restructured its business direction and officially returned to agriculture as a long-term strategic commitment to high-tech and sustainable farming. After extensive research and careful assessment, banana cultivation was selected as our core focus — a crop that allows us to fully apply advanced cultivation technologies, automation, and digital management systems. By 2023, this vision became reality. Today, Phu Lam operates 150 hectares, expanding to 500 hectares by 2028, of premium banana farms in Tay Ninh Beyond fresh premium bananas, Phu Lam also supplies a wide range of Vietnamese agricultural products, including durian, red-flesh dragon fruit, sweet potato, pomelo, and more, offered in fresh, frozen, and value-added processed forms. Supported by experienced technical teams from Vietnam and overseas, we meet the stringent requirements of Japan, Korea, China, the United States, and ASEAN markets.
